Office Assistant/Receptionist - Permanent Full Time

We are currently seeking to fill a permanent, full time position of Office Assistant/Receptionist in our Mississauga location.

Working under the supervision of the office manager, your day will be composed of many small tasks that help support the overall goal of the company. Your responsibilities will require daily interactions with staff and clients and you will be comfortable working with minimal supervision in a team setting.

The core responsibilities of general administration will include:

    •    reception and telephone duties, data entry, filing, scanning, faxing, composing correspondence, inventory control and other  record keeping functions,
    •    assisting in accounting duties including invoice production, bank deposits and bookkeeping.
    •    updating and maintaining the corporate web site,
    •    the design, coordination and maintenance of operations specific to audiovisual equipment, telephone and video conference calls .

Our successful applicant will have these skills and qualifications

    •    Canadian high school diploma or equivalent (GED), post secondary education is an asset (BSc/BA in office administration or a related field is preferred)
    •    3+ years of previous work experience in a relevant professional services setting
    •    proficient in the use of office equipment and various software systems including word processing, spreadsheets, accounting software and web development
    •    outstanding verbal and written communications and interpersonal skills
    •    accurate keyboarding and ten-key skills with attention to detail        
    •    competence in basic mathematical calculations,

    •    a proven dedication to your position and commitment to the goals and vision of the organization

    •    reliable and enthusiastic, especially under pressure
    •    an understanding of the need to maintain confidentiality
    •    a valid driver’s licence (own car would be an asset)
