Following graduation with a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, Mr. Martin spent much of his career as a professional mechanical engineer, involved in the analysis, design and construction of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Systems in commercial, institutional, industrial and residential buildings.
During his 22-year tenure as Engineering Manager at Honeywell Limited, Mr. Martin was responsible for the analysis and evaluation of all manner of types of existing HVAC equipment to determine its effectiveness, reliability, and life expectancy, and to develop solutions for efficient upgrades to the infrastructure.
The combined 40 plus years of experience with the design, operation, and analysis of mechanical systems has given Mr. Martin a unique insight into to how these types of systems operate, how they may fail, and how their designs can be improved.
